Shared 2 Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech

The minibus collects the group from hotels and riads in Marrakech around 07:30. We drive southeast into the High Atlas Mountains, climbing past Berber villages to the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m), with photo stops at the best viewpoints.

Mid-morning we visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou — the fortified village seen in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Walk its earthen alleyways, climb to the top for the panoramic view, and take the classic photo from across the river. We continue to Ouarzazate for free time and lunch.

In the afternoon we head south past Agdz into the Draa Valley — Morocco's longest oasis, lined with hundreds of thousands of date palms and old kasbahs. We arrive in Zagora in the late afternoon, where the group mounts camels for a sunset camel trek to the Berber desert camp.

At camp: Moroccan dinner, Berber drumming around the campfire, and a night under a sky full of stars.

Wake early for a sunrise camel ride as the light spreads across the desert, then return to camp for a Moroccan breakfast.

We drive back through the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate, where the group visits the Taourirt Kasbah — a former palace complex with beautifully decorated rooms. Free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon we cross the High Atlas once more via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, arriving back in Marrakech in the early evening (typically 6–7 PM) with drop-off at your hotel or riad.
